Re: Oil, And Plenty Of It!

    Moose,
It's easy to see when a group has over stepped their common sense boundries and jumped feet first into extreme actions. We have all seen these groups freak out over things like snails, fish, whales, trees, Caribou, owls to name a few. I'll throw PETA in as an extremists group (just for good measure)that has just flat out gone over the top in their own bubble they live in.
You know what hurts the Global Warming argument? Nut jobs who attach everything under the Sun to it. For example, I heard yesterday that Kidney Stones could be a result of Global Warming? See it never ends....
Don't forget who else profits from this oil problem, the U.S. Government.

    Andrew,
Thanks for the link. I read it and my little voice kept telling me that something stinks about that article. Maybe I'm not able to process that info properly but I'm wondering why this isn't major news? The Dems would score a home run with this info if it was credible. Don't you think? I do wonder what we sell crude for compared to what we buy it for? The article had no mention of that dollar amount.

DJD if you go to that page and read the Kipplinger business letter about US oil reserves it explains in detail that we are just now getting the technology to recover this oil. (The U.S.' Untapped Oil Bounty
There's enough oil to power the nation for three centuries without OPEC's help -- IF we're willing to go after it.
