Someone stole my spare also..........I think mine was stolen from Dale or KY Lake........Probably Sugar Ramp, or Joulett.......I could not put a TIME on when it was taken, but ****, it SURE was a pain in the butt when I needed it, and had to give up a WHOLE day fishing at KY when I needed to get the tire fixed..........

REALLY, REALLY ***** that people steal.

I have everything locked down on my trailer.Its always been my fear with the metal prices being the way they are that ill comeback to the ramp and see my jeep with no trailer-WHAT WOULD YOU DO!!!
For awhile there i had no lock on my spare and just a pin on my coupler and never had a problem but it was just a matter of time.

I am a police officer and thiefs are on the top of my list of scum in our society that I wish did not exist. All I can say is you cannot leave anything of any value anywhere anymore. They only need a couple of dollars to get their crack head fix. Good luck fishing and I will do my part in putting them away.

I'm sure you'll do your job but the courts will release them before your shift is over!!

Isn't that the truth. Most of the time they already have someone at the jail to bail them out(a low bond of course) before I even exit the facility. I have been very frustrated with the court system. Until the public voices their concerns more about this issue it is only going to keep going downhill.

A lot of insurance companies will not cover your loss anymore when your boat and or trailer is stolen unless you had a coupler lock and a hitch lock on your rig. If you don't have these locks...better check with your insurance company to see if your covered. These locks are readily available at BPS and also most dealers.

Saw on the local news here last night where metal theives took the plaques off the veterans memorial in Paducah....there is nothing sacred anymore to the thieves in our society.

Same here...I know copper is a big item in my area....now I have seen not just the copper in AC units stolen but the complete AC units out of businesses stolen. As far as the Vets Memorial I am a vet and still in the Army Reserves....hearing that the plaques are stolen really PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!
