"Climate scientists" also warned us of global cooling in the 70s.

That statement sheds light on an important point of view global warming proponents hold. If the data favors our cause, it is evidence. If the data contradicts our cause, it is an anomaly. Apparently any increase in global temps is caused by man, and any decrease in global temps is caused by nature.

The whole premise of global warming is the belief that man-made pollutants have overwhelmed the planet's ability to regulate temperature. If logic ruled, that debate would now be over.

Repub or Dem candidate, they are all out for theirselves, and the middle class just keeps shrinking and shrinking, I think the democrat is going to win this one, and then lets see how "Rockstar" will do. as far as global warming or cooling, everything is melting.

In the meantime he climbs in his jet, spews a couple of tons of spent fuel into the atmosphere, then cranks the thermostat down a few notches in his gigantic house when he gets there. Silly man had Rolling Stone ragazine stuff his pants full of hanging chads to beef up his package for the cover picture and he still couldn't even win his home state. He actually said out loud during his campaign he wanted gun owners to be required to have ID cards. That seem like a smart move to you?

What has president Bush got to do with this anyway? Some people aren't even intelligent enough to properly respect the office of President, let alone cast an intelligent vote. Goober eh? Snappy stuff there now, can't wait to have my 10 times dumber than Al Gore self dazzled with more of that.

Speaking of the 70's, a huge scare back then was global over-population. Anyone remember that one? According to the 'scientists', over-population should have destroyed us already.

Politicians of all parties use fear and guilt to control the masses. They'd have you believe things are just terrible in the USA, we should feel guilty we have a good lifestyle and consume so many precious resources.

Well things aren't terrible here in the USA, they're pretty darned good...better than anywhere else. (Yes, that includes Europe). If we could just keep people like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Dianne Feinstein, AL Gore, etc... out of political office it might stay that way.

In other words the sea ice in the North Atlantic and the Arctic Oceans is still melting and large chunks of ice are still falling off Antarctica and into the Ocean.

Sea levels are still rising slowly.

Not sure how this organization got their data. Normally I listen to the Academy of Science for my information on global warming.

And to those that think that Al is a Gomer. He is ten times smarter than any of you guys and one thousands times smarter than the goober you all voted for. G.W Bush is the real Goober.

I can't deny that GW has an issue when it comes to looking Presidential during his speeches! I would still take him over Gore anyday.

Gore is so full of himself which is typical of the high and mighty upper class of Democrats that want you and I to live a different life than them. All they have to do is practice what they preach! That includes Barry and Michelle and their millions, kinda funny how they talk about being proud to be an american when america enabled these poor black kids to be some of the weathy elite. That don't make no sense!!

I'm am a big opponent of the wacko global warming theories, but the main argument that I use is that they simply do not have enough representative data from the time that climate was measurable (last 100 years at most) to be able to make accurate predictions about current trends.

That being said, one year of the temperatures being cooler is as flimsy of evidence of global cooling as they have for global warming.
