I fished Barren this weekend also. The bite was tough for me and my partner , 5 keepers in 2 days, and not many short fish. All of the keeper fish came off of wood on bare looking banks. A few guys seemed to find them, winners had 16 pounds.

Fished Barren on Sunday from 8:00am - 2:30pm. It was the first time I've been on the water for about 4 weeks. I fished backs of creeks, main lake flats etc. only caught 2 keepers a few short fish and about three 3lb hybrids. I guess I was completely off the mark. Anyone else have a tough day at Barren this weekend?

do you know what weights for the non-boaters made the state team?...I guess the lowest weight that made the team will do.
had some buddys go down for the weekend and they said they wacked em...biggest was 5.8
Took 8 + tp make the non boater side and I think 9 for boater side, teh fish were scattered and it was junk fishing, I had 4.11 Sat but 0 Sun. Some whacked them though. It was a tough bite.
You are correct on the Non-boater side, but to make it on he boater side it took 16+ lbs!! Amazing numbers were put up by some, not me obv. The winner was a guy from the UK fishing team and man did he have it dialed in. He had over 26 for the two days, I believe, and another guy had over 23!! My partner the last day had a total over 13 and missed it, that's the only reason I know what it took on that side.
