Most the hatches are pop riveted in,,,got to drill them out and replace with screws. And on the hatch side new nuts and bolts to attach the hinges back on. This makes it better and tighter. Your looking at 550-600 for carpet and labor,,k,unless you want to come help and then I`ll cut you a deal. If you help THEN you`ll understand my prices. Just let me know. Alot of people think it`s easy to replace carpet till they get into it...then you hear alot of crying...LOL oh and if your interested, I`ll cut you a real deal on the pad for your front and rear decks while i`m in the middle of it.

Hey Doug. I think you'll be getting my business this winter. My boat needs new carpet bad. I had been toying with the idea of replacing it myself but I'm just not really sure if I could do it right. Will be contacting you sometime in December or January (when I'm done fishin').

Also, do you restore gel coats (buff and wax)? I've been waxing mine 3 times a year these past few years and the dang thing just starts oxidizing worse each time. Hope I didn't screw anything up.

A really large bottle of Kessler used to knock a little bit off your bill as well. Good luck, but he does do great work.

Have you thought about going away from carpet all together??? Less to worry about, there's no carpet to get dirty, you don't worry about putting it up wet, and for me it makes the boat lighter for a little more speed!!!

KESSLER? Is that an abreviation for KEROSINE? Buy him a bottle of Makers Mark, and good old Doug will carpet you boat, paint your house, and tune up you truck, and then give you change back.
