This may be a little off your topic but, when you play the instrument do you feel like it's pouring out of the very depth of your soul? I play piano, trumpet, drums, and organ. When I was recently going through the worst time of my life I literally spent hours every day playing the piano. There were times I could feel the music in a way that is indescribable. I know that, for me, it was a type of therapy that was better than any psychiatrist could provide.Neil is amazing, he is a show in himself, man we sould put a Fishin.com band together, with all the bass players we could do a Spinal Tap tribute and do BIG BOTTOMS. Man I miss my playing days it was a fun time but as I see it music and fishing are both arts and keep my sanity.what little is left.
Definitely. Always put everything into it when we played. Primal scream theropy as a friend called it after a show. Hey, it worked

Yes playing comes from and thru the soul, it is undescribable the feeling you get when a song is just flowing and your soul takes control, you musicans know the feeling, words cant describe it, and the listeners also feel it. It is great therpy, as you can put all your feelings and emotions into the instrument, the instrument is an extention of your inner sanctum. I miss playing a lot, need to find some muscians to jam with. I usually paly by myself now as I have an effects pedal that has drum rythms and it lays down a back beat, wrote a lot of songs this way.
