    Kragthorpe haters

Send your AD an e-mail and tell them Tommy Tuberville from Auburn should be the next coach. Wouldn't that be ironic? For some reason Auburn decided he wasn't the man for the job any more. He's a solid coach in my opinion.

The rumor mill has it that he would be interested in the job if it was open.
To bad So Sad, cause it ain't open.

The only thing bigger than Tom Jurich's bank account is his ego and he doesn't like being wrong.
Krudthorpe has at least one more year come hell or high water, just get use to it for awhile. How far down can the man take the program, High School level maybe......

Hey, I've bashed Kragglethud...been guilty...kinda figured that he had one foot on a bananna peel and one foot out the door this season with Louisville. But I guess it's not so with Tommy the Turtleneck.

Look at Coach Brooks for Kentucky though. We all wanted his head after 3 seasons and now he could probably run for Governor and win. Maybe it'll just take a little more time and Krags will do something. Or maybe he's destined to set sail into the horizon on the Failboat...we'll see. Like you said, I think he could burn down the admin building at UL and run naked through the quad with a lampshade on his head and a beer bottle stuck in his butt clucking like a chicken and still get one more year at the helm out of his deal.

Don't worry if somebody snags up Tuberville in the mean time. Hal Mumme is currently "at home with nothing to do" and can live on unemployment and government cheese for at least a year. He'll be ready to stand when his name is called.

    I kid, I kid.

That's interesting that he's interested. If they fired Kragthorpe, who could they get that would be better (besides Hal Mumme of course....)? Kelly from Cincy swears he's not going anywhere. Not too many names out there right now...........

Splitshot, no comparison between Brooks and Klownthorpe. Brooks inherited a team that was on probabtion and was terrible in Mumme's last season. Scholarship restrictions put a huge damper on Brooks.

Klownthorpe took an Orange Bowl winning team and defending conference champion with the No. 1 Quarterback in the country and went 6-6 and made the No. 1 quarterback in the country into a second round draft pick.

Prowler, Tuberville and Fulmer are both better coaches than Krapthorpe. My e-mail has already been sent and it also involves four tickets that I have had since before the stadium was built, that very well could be vacant next season.

    Re: Kragthorpe haters

I'd think some university will snatch Tuberville right up ASAP. I'm not much of an SEC guy but I admired the job he did at Ole Miss and Auburn.

On an unrelated subject since the word probation was brought up - does anybody see a potential similarity that could exist between Rick Pitino at UK in the early 90's and Tom Crean at IU today? I wonder if IU will get 5 or 6 core guys and turn the program around like Pitino did with Pelphrey, Feldhaus, and the rest of those guys that made up the "unforgetables".

You have two storied basketball programs that were fresh off of probation with a good coach. Now I'm still not sold on Crean but that's just me.

I'm not sold on Crean either, but I see the similarities. He did a pretty good job with Marquette. Indiana is another level entirely.

This is my opinion, and I will readily admit if I'm proven wrong by a successful run by Crean.

I think he rode the coattails of Dwayne Wade's triple double in the elite 8 game and subsequent Final 4 team back a few years ago. Marquette hadn't done anything up to that point since the late Al McGuire cut down the nets in the late 70's. My wife and I attended the first and second rounds at Indy that year and Wade was the man although both Holy Cross and a loaded 6 seed Missouri team gave Marquette all they could handle.

Like I said, I hope I'm wrong and he leads the Hoosiers back to relevance.

Again my well college football schooled friend beat me to.
No way could I have said it better myself.

Splitshot it's one thing to bring a team up from absolute sub-surface as Brooks did.
But Steve L. Cooperthorpe inherited a Cadillac and he turned it into a AMC Pacer.
Quite frankly the man just CAN'T coach, he really doesn't know what he's doing, and I'm not trying to be funny. He stands on the sideline with his little play wristband like he's some NFL Quaterback or something and hides his face behind that dry erase play board he's got, lol.
Hey Steve you don't need to hide your mouth when you are pretending to call a play, nobody is looking anyway, except to maybe laugh at you.

Last night's game was an absolute embarrasment for the school, the fans, the players, the cheerleaders, the popcorn vendors, the state of Kentucky, well you get the point.
Jurich is a complete fool if he doesn't cut ties with this court gesture real soon.

I love when the coaches hold the clipboards/erase boards over their mouths when play calling. I laughed out loud when I read that line mhall.

John L. Smith - what ever happened to that guy?

I was actually glad that my son had a basketball game last night and I didn't have to watch much of that debacle. Shame was my only emotion.

John L. is on the radion on WKRD 790 a.m. from 7 to 10 weekday mornings. The show is called the Early brids and it is done with Drew Diener who is a sportscaster in the area.
