Just wondered if anyone had been to Laurel on heard any reports about it?? thinking bout going there maybe tuesday or saturday and throw the FLY.

Alot of times i just key on main lake points close to deepwater or the river channel some of the creeks i like would be rogers creek and spruce creek around the flatwoods boat ramp area or if you put in at holly bay or marsh branch area look at fishing craigs creek and indian wind---look for wind blown pts and even deep pockets
we were guna go down today but figured it wouldnt be safe to try an put in on a snow covered ramp,we'll hopefully be down this weekend though
Thanks MEANMOUTH, Ive got a map and Ill be sure to check those creeks out! Ill be traveling down I-75 so I think Holly Bay is the ramp that I look up on map quest. I never relized ow deep that lake is til I looked at the map . That same thing crossed my mind, Id hate to put my whole rig in the water! Do you carry salt or kitty liter with you this time of year? My truck is just a 2wd with some weight in the back, i am able to go where i need to pretty much as ii said id sure hate to take it for a swim this time of year!!!!!!!!!
Thought about taken my first trip to Laurel soon. I'll probably take the jigs, FnF, and some shiners. I was wondering though is there any place down there to get shiners and if so where. Thanks in advance.

there's a place if you are going to laurel on the backside that sell shiners. i have no idea what the name of the store is but it is on the way as if you were heading to grove marina from the corbin side. sorry i don't have a better description but maybe someone will know where i am talking about.

yeah bee creek market usually has shiners and also large minnows if you prefer, great people there at the store, i hope to be going down this week as well, i'll report if i go
