Thinking about getting out Sunday for a little while. Anybody know how TVille is looking right now?
I know salt river is up and muddy for what thats worth.
The last report I heard, said the spillway road was closed due to ice. The road down to Settler's Trace was also iced over (1/2way down, towards the incline portion). Maybe the warm temps will melt it off, maybe not ... since both roads are well shaded. I'd call the Taylorsville fishing/lake condition report number, just to see, before I made any lengthy road trips. 502 477 8606
Water level is currently at Summer Pool ... and being pulled about 1ft/day. (check the water level graphs in the Fishing Reports section of this site, for more current info)
Personally, with falling water - muddy water - cold water - ice - etc ... I'd give it a few more weeks ... LOL!!!

I heard Taylorsville was iced over all the way across. Havent seen it for myself but just some input to your thoughts of heading down there.
Thanks fellas, I think we're going to hold off on tomorrow. .
Went down yesterday. The road down to the spillway was closed due to ice, fairly sure that should all be gone by now though. Parked over by the dam and walked down that hill to the spillway. Water was muddy and about 6 inches short of being on the sidewalk, pushing a good amount of water too. The parts of the lake I saw were still frozen solid, except around the pumping station, and even that was a small amount of fishable water.
Not worth the trip...
