    Boltz Lake

Eneybody been fishing there lately. I tried this lake two years ago caught 2 small frys.Been thinking of giving it a try if the river is up and moving to fast for my boat. Or is this just another over fished small lake.

I haven't hit it this year, but it is a good spring lake for big bass. I caught a 6.5 lb last year in June on a 10" worm. I usually catch anywhere from 8-15 bass everytime I go. Decent lake. Some decent crappie and catfish too. Nice boat ramp.

Drive past it everyday. It had a sheet of ice on it a couple days a go. the cove that you can see from south bound I75. This morning the water looked to have that green tint to it. didn't look muddy. Havn't fished it for a couple of years. Spend most of my time @ williamstown in the darkness, can't fish that lake during the day.

I used to fish Corinth a lot. Caught many bass around the cattails near the interstate. Used to love holding up a bass in the air as the truckers woudl drive by blowing their horns.
How do you get to Boltz? I've been thinking about trying it sometime soon.

I go 75 North from bellevue, dayton, newport area.
Get off at the dry ridge exit "dry ridge toyota."
Turn right off of the exit, go about a block block and a half maybe.
Turn right and follow the road to the dock.
They have a real nice boat ramp.
