Nope, never had him in custody. Had tried several times, unsuccessfully, to get various countries to expell Bin Ladin to a country where he could stand trial. Tried to hit him with some cruise missles once, then could not get much support from a repub lead congress to go after him again. Old Newt was too busy trying to nail Clinton for lying about a bj all the while carrying on an affair of his own.

As far as letting terrorists go, Bush released 60 from Gitmo, several of whom have ended up back on the battlefield.

Sorry DJD but your post just exemplifies what I'm saying with the "Didn't Clinton have osama in custody at one time and let him go?" quote and like I said I don't blame Bush for the attack even though it happened on his clock but Obama is getting the blame for the shape the economy is in.

I guess it's all the dems fault. sigh

Just remember it's the job he wanted. He made all the bold statements that he is now backing off of and that bothers me and it should bother anyone who actually tried to follow the entire election process.

The Clinton statement was a question I thought that was clear? I didn't remember so I asked.

I do blame alot of whats going on in the economy on the Dems. I also don't have the belief that spending Trillions will help us save money. How does that work? I just don't agree with any additional power being given to the gubment....it's not in my DNA. If they (either party) had a great track record then I would have a small amount of hope but we know how that story goes.

Yep Newt really let me down I still enjoy his Conservative views but he has fallen like alot of Politicians.

I guess I must be wrong, but both of them are responsible. Bush paved the road to socialism and BHO is driving the crane with wrecking ball on the left side.

Both of them are for letting terrorists go. Bush let some go and they ended up fighting against our soldiers on the battle field. After seeing that happen, BHO decided he would give it a go also. Treat them like a j-walker and take them to court. We know what a lib judge will say. I'm sure facts like he was spanked by his parents and thus caused him to kill americans will get them off.

I'm getting tired of hearing BHO say he inherited this mess(which he did) and then porceeds to out do every president since our founding in spending money we don't have. And he's not done yet! It's a bad sign when socialist countries look at us as say stop. Of course BHO says all we need to say to countries like France is mercy bo coo. Now that BHO is president all these countries will love us, even Iran.

I think BHO should go ahead and send us the bill in the mail. I think we are up to $25,000 for every american citizen(we have open borders but those folks don't have to pay). I bet if the heavy hand if government came down on us in the form of a bill in the mail along with a little note from the IRS saying pay up or else(I got one of those once), there would be a different tune in this country.
