I found a tackle bag at Taylorsville today. It had washed up on the bank. Pretty full of nice stuff. Everything was still in good condition, so it must have been lost in the last day or so. Reply if you are missing one and I will get you my number to identify it.

Count me out for it can't be mine. If my tackle box ever went overboard, first I would be out about a couple of grand, second it would sink straight to the bottom and third if it ever got washed around the dam then they would have to send down divers to remove it for it will be the PLUG, and fourth, Bass Pro, Backwaters and The One Stop would have record months in sales if I had to replace EVERYTHING.
I think I lost a tackle box at Taylorsville with my name "Toon" on it as well. Of course, everybody that fishes Taylorsville wishes they had that map.
I also lost a tackle box at Barren with a marked map the name on the side said Stinson! LOL
Call Gary Ball at Smyrna Bait and Tackle he lost His.
Jerry Cole
I guess that would explain the Smyrna Bait and Tackle hat that was in it.
I dropped it off at his store today. I had all my rods, reels, and tackle stolen out of my truck a month ago and someone found it all in their yard and turned it in to the police who then got it back to me. Returning a tackle box was the least I could do after that.
Fishermen are good people![]()
i will second that (most) fisherman are good people. i lost a seat out of my boat about three weeks ago, so i am driving home last weekend and this guy follows me 35 minutes to my house. he has my seat. i tried and tried to give him some money and he wouldn't take it. excellent guy. saved me about $100 and he was just happy to have helped. plenty of good people to meet on the water
