    estion for Dave Stewart

Dave, with all of the big bags yesterday and the change in the weather, how much will this affect the bite today? Since most of the fish are being caught on ledges will they be affected as much as shallow bass when a front like this moves through? I know lack of current can affect the ledge bite, but not sure about weather.

    Thanks, Tim

Oops, title should be Question, not sure what an estion is.

Sorry, I decided since I had a day off, which are far and few in between that I would take the opportunity to catch up on some long needed rest...so a little late in answering your question.

All fish are affected by frontal passages to some extent...mainly depends on how much the front affected the water temps etc. Today's front is not a harsh front by any means....it was actually a stationary front that had been sitting just to our northwest that finally moved thru this morning. Although it is somewhat cooler, the water temps were not affected much at all. We have had cloud cover all day and we have current today. I expect to see some big bags at the weigh in in a little while again today. Early this morning just behind the passage the north wind was blowing pretty good....but right now the wind is not all that bad...not sure what it was during the day today as I was asleep...lol. The wind from the north would affect the anglers ability to hold the ledges if it was bad earlier today but if it layed down as it seems to be right now these guys should have some more good bags today. The forecast tomorrow of bright sunshine is not a great thing, probably move the fish a little deeper on the ledges but there is a forecasted pretty good current draw tomorrow also, if this happens I would expect more good bags. Saturday will be the tougher day from the forecast I see....very little current projected for Saturday. Of course, what is forecasted for current draw and what actually happens can be two different things...LOL.

Thanks Dave, being a bank beater for the most part, I had no clue what, if any affect it would have.

Smuckeye, nice humor, I may have to run my boat into your houseboat at Green for that buddy LOL!

All you have to do is "Ask" your mother-in-law, during one of the times she and your love are "speaking", and she will hook you up man, no problem
