    Cap-And-Trade Will Cost

I was paying my monthly bills this afternoon and took a look at the newsletter that comes with my electric bill from Nolin Rural Electric Coop Corp. As intended, the very first headline caugth my eye:

    "CAP-AND-TRADE WILL COST NOLIN MEMBERS

The U.S. House of Representatives voted on June 26th to pass legislation that calls for the nation's first limits on pollution blamed for golbal warming. . . . The plan under consideration is known as a carbon cap-and-trade program and it is designed to put a "cap" on how much greenhouse gas is put into the atmosphere. The program would also require a permit (also known as allowance) for every ton of carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted.

These permits to emit carbon could coast anywhere from $20 to $50 per ton. If you do the math, this adds up to BIG INCREASES ON YOUR MONTHLY ELECTRIC BILL--BETWEEN $27 AND $68."

And Obama said he was not going to raise our taxes. Oh yeah, there was a thing on the news today, that he has admitted that he may have to raise taxes on the middle class to pay for the "massive deficits."

And Health Care hasn't even been passed yet!!

Obama flat out lied about every campaign promise he made during the election. The Dems are going to raise taxes on everything so high to pay for their out of hand spending that it will be "the stick to break the camel's back".It's not only electric bills, but they are sneaking taxes in on every fuel, phones, internet service, cable and satellite TV,trying to tax our already broke 401 K's,stealing money from Social Security to cover their rear, and penalizing those of us who live further than a block to drive anywhere.Raising property taxes even though wages and property values went down.
Obama is the Hoover of the 21st century, better start learning how to eat possum and ground hogs.Amazes me how they can give freely to specialty groups and foreign countries, but make those of us already suffering pay for it.I already converted to wood for heat as much as possible, still have propane for backup. I just can't believe so many fools voted for the lying piece of crap.

It makes me sick to my stomach..actually to be honest with you I think it depresses me but I try to not think about it, but not thinking about it is kind of hard to do when everytime you turn around you hear some lame crap spewed from the dem's again.

As for the beers on the patio approach to solving racial tension, what a joke that was too! I wonder how many people that are out of work only WISH they could afford a six pack? I wonder how many M.A.D.D. supporters he gained last week during his beer summit? Don't get me wrong I like beer, whiskey, bourbon, tequila, etc...but if I wore the presidents shoes I would not use alcohol as the solution to racial tension...I guess he thought if everyone put on their beer goggles they might view things in a better way? HA...BOLOGNA is what I say to anything and everything about Nobama!

    Dear Mom,

I find it encreasingly harder and harder to keep from saying things on fishin.com that I wouldn't say to you while sitting together on a pew in a Methodist Church House. But with some help from our father up above along with some prayer I'm sure I will be ok.

What cracks me up is,everytime the Heat is on Obama and the liberal Liars, they bring up some irrelevent garbage about Bush/Cheney and their policies. What does interrogating slimeball terrorists have to do with Obamanations lying about every campaign promise he made? Personally I think they should publicly behead terrorists just like they do American captives. Funny the press hounded Bush for 8 years, but can't find the nads to tell the truth on Obama.
Raising taxes on the Middle Class near you soon.

I have been around for some time on this site and never said a word. What the most of you dont understand is that the power of the people voted and wanted this country to go in a different direction. The consertatives had 8 years and proved they could do nothing more than drive this economy into the ground and its still the best economy in the world. Obama needs a chance to prove his ideas will work and if not vote him out after 4 yrs but dont leave him in there 8 yrs like we did george. If the best the republican party has to offer is a mccain/palin ticket in the next election there is going to be some very sad days ahead. Ronald reagen was the best president in my lifetime but ever since him the consertative ideas are gone. Lets give obama a chance and rally behind our president for the sake of our country.

Sorry, slippedcork, you couldn't be more wrong then your plea to rally around Obama. If Obama were truely doing the things he ran on in his campaign for President, it may not have been too bad but he and the Democrat majority are trying to change us into the UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF AMERICA and I don't think the majority of americans really wanted that when they voted for CHANGE.

Bush and the Republicans did act like drunken Democrats when they were in power but the $587 Billion defict they ran up over eight years is nothing compared to the three trillion dollar defict the Administration and Congress have run up in just six months. If it keeps going this way, just ask yourself if you think that the Chinese and/or the Saudis will even let up vote when they take over our country as repayment for the debts we owe.

I have written three letters and sent three emails to Obama and he has yet to anwer any of them, so you are absolutely right that we need to vote him out as soon as we can.

That's right! He wants to socialize medical care, take your guns, destroy industry with cap and trade and if you work that means you're rich and you will be taxed! Give him a chance and he will destroy our economy and country. It's only been 7 months and he's trying his best. He was elected by people that fell for his proposals. Go into a first grade class and tell all of the children that if they pick you as their teacher for the year you will make sure that they will get ice cream every day for lunch and you will be elected the teacher. Even though ice cream for lunch is not good for their health, the children they will still vote for you!

It sounds good in theory...and we the American people should stand behind our president...but when the guy goes completely against the grain and morals of how I was raised and the backbone of which this country was built on...forget it...it ain't happening! Mom and dad always said to not live beyond my means...well Nobama is making this country live well beyond it's means...Cash for Clunkers! HA! Need I say more? And it doesn't help any that every time he opens his mouth he just digs himself a deeper hole.

Cash For Clunkers...man what a joke!!! An expensive joke that you Mr Slippedcork and me will have to help pay for!

    Spread the word.
