The company I work for is on the Oldham/ Jefferson County line. Really it's considered eastern Jefferson county. This afternoon we recieved 4.6 inches of rain in one hour and fifteen mintues. My maintenance man and my self just dumped 7 full 16 gallon shop vacs of water out of the office basement. We used a mop up another four or five gallons and the fans are drying the rest. We made the news, YeePee, lol.
I've been there going on 29 years and have never seen water coming in that building like that, not even close. Boys I'm done with this storm business this year, I hate to wish my life away but I'll kinda be glad when 2009 is over, and I'm praying business wise, and weather wise 2010 will be alot better.
I'm wet and venting, sorry, but I'm done with the flooding rains for this year, really done!

You know I actually like rain, it's a much needed thing obviously, but this area around here this year has just been ridiculous, it's like living in South East Asia or something, lol.
