GET A REPLICA!!! The fish doesn't have to die for one to enjoy it on their wall. Take a pic, get the measurements, and LET IT GO! Big bass tast like #$%^ anyways!Thats why the almighty made crappie!
Fish on!

pretty much...any bass i ever mount will still be alive after the fact
GREAT Quote; This thread reminds me of an Ellen Degeneres quote:
“I ask people why they have deer heads on their walls. They always say because it's such a beautiful animal. There you go. I think my mother is attractive, but I have photographs of her.”
Funny quote. My self-esteem or self-worth is not tied to displaying for others how great a fisherman I am. I am a great fisherman because I practice conservation and want to share with others the fun of catching a big fish.
We love to eat fish, We will keep most of our,, pan fish, all our Catfish.... BUT All our Bass Go back in eH![]()
I rarely keep a fish at all, but I find it funny how much discussion this always brings up.
Wouldn't it be ironic if all of the crappie and bluegill anglers released their catch, but ate bass most of the time LOL!
i wish people would do what they do and not complain because someone doesnt see things the way they do. i enjoy coming home with fish to clean whether its bass, crappie, or bluegill. i also enjoy coming home without a mess of bass to clean because i released them that day. how do some of you know that big bass taste like !@#$, if you werent willing one time to give them a try? would you still throw them back if you thought they tasted just as good as smaller ones? not trying to be a smart#$%, just asking.
hard enough to catch quality fish without killing them all
It's interesting to think of it that way but it's the truth.
I've heard of some walleye fisherman way up north who think of smallmouth as a non-native species to their waters and make it a point to keep and eat all they can legally.
no, ive been fishing around home and doing 10 times better than patoka has been for me in the last month...just aint worth the gas. and looks like it was a good idea...
