DC,
I live about 4 miles north of the lake and we have had nothing but downpours today (Friday). More than likely I would guess that the lake will be up and muddy by Saturday afternoon.

Looks like it's .7 above summer pool as of today.
Thanks for the help, didn't matter everyone canceled out on me and I dont fish alone so I stayed home. You know, thats about the 4th or 5th time its been done this year.
Salt River was rolling yesterday and it was pure mud at the 248 bridge.
Thanks for the recon Fishincreek, I've been waiting for these conditions all year. Last year there was no water in Oct. and I was robbed of my favorite run. Fishing should be good today and tomorrow, but will probably stink again after Tuesday. Do you cross that bridge everyday, or did you just happen to be in the neighborhood?
Hunting, when I can(wish it were everyday!!!).
Yes sir, I hear you. I love that area. We've got a family farm there (27 years) And I have'nt had the opportunity to be there as much as I would like this year because of the crazy work hours. But I will for sure be taking advantage of this high water tomorrow before it gets pulled.
Check the fishing report link at the top. They update the lake levels every day. Looks like it's gonna be up for a while.
I was out this afternoon (sunday) water was way up. Went in heady run, then some main lake points. Cranking, worming, jigging and not much. I caught a short hybrid on a crankbait, but nothing else all day.
Packing the truck right now. Will post a report this evening.
Fish are there. Fished from 3:00 pm till 7:00. The only bummer was the biggest hybrid was 9lbs. I think it will last through thursday. Anywhere upstream of the bridge. Call in sick to work. - Dr.B.
