shh...dont let the secret outta the bag even though i think the magazine already did

I was reading about these in the latest BASSMASTER mag issue. I've seen these things before but never really gave them a second look. They look like they would be fun to experiment with and fish at different depths. Does anyone have any experience with using these jigs?

Give it a try with a straight tail fluke type bait. You won't be dissapointed.
Big crybaby Aaron Martens (He is on my spot, that is my spot, why is he fishing my spot, Dude I am leading the tournament and you are costing me a $100,000, how long are you going to be fishing my spot, He is on my spot and is sitting right on the fish, sure with he would move so I can fish my spot - Martens owns more "spots" on public water than any other fisherman alive/dead/not born yet and all in between) invented the bait and recently sold the rights to it to a company in Indiana (I think it was). Sort of works like a crankbait crossed with a chatterbait. I use the 1/4 oz head with a White or Shad color Zoom Fluke Jr. body. Perfect shad imitating bait.
They're made about a 1/4 mile from me here in Lawrenceburg. GREAT BAIT. you can fish with plastic craws, finese, just about anything. Have caught everything from striper to walley to catfish. very versitile bait.
Bad news. Stopped by the shop the other day and they have "outsourced" the production to a lure company (to be named later) and as of 3 weeks ago were not in production at that time.

Thanks for the info. I need to pick up a few different sizes and give them a try. Hey Woody, tell me what you really think of Aaron Martens... LOL
