Hit the Pond today

I smacked'em around pretty good today. Had at least 20 maybe a few more lost count about 14 or so. Caught the two best fish in pond number two, they would have weighed a respectable 2 and a half or so and one tht would make 3 easy. Several more came on the trap, but the go to was the Bitsy Bug jig with a black and blue #11 pork. They were stacked in one corner and I was feeling the thump.
I know it's not the same as the big lake but it was good to get my line stretched, and thought I would report.

I fished a pond Friday and Saturday, the bite was terrible Friday, but Saturday was good but had to work hard. Had to fish super slow, and small jigs. Caught several 9" blue gill and some small bass 16 inch, lot of fun, you can get your chores done, and still go fishing just have to leave the boat behind.

I like a pong report every now anad then....On Thanksgiving Day I was at the house where I go to all the time to fish the pond...couldn't help but look out the window at the pond while eating dinner and ask myself: "Why the heck didn't I bring a rod?"

Sounds like a great day Mark, you need to come on down to the river so we can stretch some 50#line lol. On a side note we might want to get out with ole Ross, he got his orders last week and looks like he's part of the new Obama plan.....Hated to hear it, sounds like he won't be around alot of water next year. Give me a shout. Chuck
