Forum member Lowerider will be after those Big Blues again this weekend, out of Leavenworth Ind. on the Ohio R.
Lets root for our Fishin.com team. Last year 71# was the big fish and 35% were over 40+#.
This post is a test to see if it stays or goes. Think about it!

Looks like there will be plenty of "shiver" this weekend. Good luck and be careful!!
Good luck Scott, I hope you guys win it.
Good luck you should have plenty of water.
Yeah, I hear every year about the big pigs coming in cold high water but haven't been able to figure out the pattern myself.
This will be my first time fishing this pool too against some real tough competition so just looking to have a little fun. The fever is setting in so it'll be good to get out.
The water will definitely be smoking - thank god my partner is in charge of the anchor...lol.
Dang Chuck he sounds like you do with the anchor thing, LOL.Yeah, I hear every year about the big pigs coming in cold high water but haven't been able to figure out the pattern myself.

Just out of curiosity, what pool of the OH river is the Westport (KY) ramp in? I've heard a lot of buzz about the stretch of the river near Maysville (KY) and in the western region of KY, but not a lot about the stretch from Louisville on north to Carroll County. Any thoughts or comments?
I can only speak to catfishing but the rule of thumb is the further downstream you go the bigger the blues get...
Thats correct. I've heard that W. Virginia is trying to get the blues established with a stocking program. Fish are starting to be caught up that way, but they aren't monsters yet. Give them a few more years and the big onse will be caught up that way too.
