Gethenet and Mhall - I was just funnin' with you. It can get real cold standing in the bow of a bassboat, that's why I took up icefishing - it doesn't seem as cold and you can dress heavier (and climb into a shanty if you have to
). Check Army Surplus for some arctic gear. There's some pretty nice stuff out there, and it isn't that costly (esp compared with a BPS or Cabelas). My D-in-law is in the Air Force, so I get mine at the BX. Anyway - I have had some luck with WD-40 keeping the ice out of the guides fishing Steelhead in January and February. Might be worth a try.........
