    True Irony

I applied for and have been selected for a temporary job in the maintenance dept at Cumberland Gap NHP on condition of background check and physical.
I received the paperwork today which requires I get fingerprinted at the local PD,submit 3 background checks, and pass a Leavenworth Prison System Standard physical, all this for a Non-Sensitive job repairing trails and structures in the park for 9 months at a measly $16 an hour which is a big pay cut for me although I need the work.
The Irony is we have Tax Evaders,Criminals,Far Left Weirdos, and Communists as part of Obama's Cabinet and Czars in Washington who are in National Security jobs that obviously have to submit less

$16 an hour is not bad money. It may not be what your used to, but still a pretty solid wage. The cool thing is where you will be working. I think CGNHP is one of the most beautiful places in Kentucky. Btter get you a fly rod and some flies, you will be surrounded by trout fishing in three states.
