I'd say there were plenty of fish caught. I witnessed a few personally, but sadly I zeroed for the weekend.

I know my brother caught an 18" and a 21" and I saw Boone catch two 18" fish.

Plenty of fish caught the last 13 days in my boat on the fly. Trying to figure it up last night when I was talking to my buddy Chunknwind and I came up with somewhere around 120 total caught. Some great days with 19, 15, 17, 13 and 11 and a couple of 5 and 6 day with the rest being around 8-10 per day. 9 overs landed total, I had 4 including a 6-2, 5-0, 5-5 and 5-1, 3sons had 2 that went 5-4 and 4-14, Bonefish had his first that went around 5 but was not weighed and Catchemall had a 5-1 pre fishing for the Billy and then the most important one of all a 5-4 with less than 1 1/2 hour to go in the tourney. A ton of fish from 18 - 20 1/2 inches long were caught. Not to mention that I broke off 3 fish that were sure 5 pounders plus and one was probably much bigger. One fish was hooked on the fly and for whatever reason she broke off and then jumped trying to spit it but I not a happy camper and not looking in that direction but 3sons and Bonefish both saw it and said it had the biggest head they ever seen. 3sons had taken the picture of my 6-2 earlier in the week so he had seen a pretty good fish up close and in person. Another fish was hooked on a jig and my GLoomis with 10lb flourocarbon could not turn her as she went away from me, after about 15 turns of the reel in trying to get her to do something she got me in a brush pile, good bye fish. Never saw her but had to be a good one. 2 other times with 3 sons in the boat had fish come so hard at the boat and under the boat then could not get anything back and broke off. Fish are getting bigger because of the slot and they are a lot more aggressive this year. water temps just hitting 50 when I left Saturday and it should be even better the next couple of weeks.

Wow the fish got bigger as the story got longer, whew thought you was going to get in a ten pounder on us right at the last. Sounds like you had a good trip.

Catchemall and I caught 12 on Friday, 7 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday.

9 slots on Friday with 2 over 4, 5 slots on Saturday......none over 4, 5 slots on Sunday, with 3 REALLY FAT smallies over 4.

Catchemall used his camera phone, so when he gets some pics to me, I will post a link from my facebook page.

ALL in all, it was a GREAT weekend....

Plenty of fish to catch around the state dock. Personally I fish TN waters but know several that fish the reciprocating waters with success. You may catch more Spotted Bass than Smallies but they are fun to catch as well.
