Here in Lex it's typical..forecast 2-5" of snow. Got a little snow so far but nothing ground breaking. Might change later?

You got some more heading your way Don. I jumped off the tractor in our lot here at work from grading a minute and stuck my tape measure on flat concrete and it measured almost exactly 2 inches. I'll go out and measure agin here in a minute and see what we have now as it's been snowing pretty hard since I took the last measurement. Wind is starting to blow hard to, it's cold. It's also slicker than a minners peter out there to. I had the tractor in four wheel drive and was still spinning in a few spots.

I got power and no trees came through my roof this time, so it wasn't too bad. We only got about 2 inches here in W. Ky. You would think the world was ending though. The grocery stores were sold out of milk and eggs. Is it customary to bake cakes during a snow storm???

Just got back in from hitting the snow on my ATV. Man that was FUN!! Wish I could do it more but it was a cold son of a gun. I'd say we got 2-3" around here. Course I ain't no bonafide weather man.

Well we got around close to 4 inches here. I was out in the lot after grading later in the day and slipped and fell hard. I have one broke rib and one cracked rib. Pulled muscles in my back and my neck. It's painful to type this right now. Got my elbow all tucked up under my rib cage and all my weight hit on that, you could actually here the breaks.

Don't let anybody ever tell you that broken ribs don't hurt.

That is just terrible Mark. Yes broken ribs sound very painful to me especially when you breathe and move You poor thing. I hope you have lots of pain killers and are getting lots of rest on your good side. Yes the major downfall of winter is falling on ice or slippery conditions. I vowed I would never fall again as I have taken some bad falls on ice. Take care of yourself and get better soon.

Wow, sorry to hear that, man. And I'm not ABOUT to tell you they don't hurt. (Knock on wood) I've never had it happen to me, but I've had some friends with broken ribs and I can tell they're painful. One good thing is they heal relatively quickly.
