Oil Drilling in Brazil

Ok fella's...here's another one. This one comes from the Wall Street Journal.

Even though POTUS is against off shore drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil!

I'm not 100% sure of how true this is but from what I've heard the oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China and NOT THE USA ! Now here's the real clincher...the Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil".

Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of Obama's most generous financial supporters during his campaign.

Like I say...I do not know how much of this is true...I suppose the money to support the drilling is true....but as far as China purchasing ALL of the oil or not, I don't know. I really haven't heard of this Soros fella before now either...but IF Soros was the financial supporter that I'm lead to believe he was, then I wonder if this is payback to him from POTUS?

Sorry for posting so much political crap the past two days...but when MY money, the money I earned the hardway, the money I earned while sacrificing time away from my family is concerned, it really ticks me off that was somone wants to use it in a way that I'm 100% against.

Dave you make a good point.

In regards to stimulous money...didn't we "borrow" all of that stimulous money from other countries anyway? Maybe this is one SMALL way of pay them back...sort of like: "Here's part of the payment for the money we borrowed in the form of work and production."

Meanwhile...we still need some work here.
