Onemorecast56 (Doug Meyers) is in need of our prayers.

He has a hospital appointment for Monday and is very worried about the outcome. I just had a long chat with him and he his very concerned about his health. I won't go into any specifics, let's all send a prayer his way in his time of need.

hey thanks guys,,,you all are great! I`ve got a heart cath to be done monday. I`m already on my 2nd by-pass,,sure don`t want a 3rd,,,hope they can do it with stents. It was only 1 yrs ago since my last by-pass,,,so if i`m still around after monday and anybody see`s me with a cigarette,,,come smack the crap out of me! I`m going to hit the river 1 more time before monday,,,just in case...I`m in great shape other then my heart,,,it has 7 by-pass`s in it now,,,I`m like a old outbroad,,,i`m out of spare parts!...so thanks a million people,,,i still got butts to kick.

I've sent your prayer request to my daughter and son-in-law in Arkansas and special prayers will be on your your way from their Sunday worship.

God's will be done and I KNOW He wants you to put a whooping on me when we can fish together soon.

Doug if you don't quit them **** things like I told ya, I'm gonna swim over to your boat down at the river next time climb in the boat and proceed to whip your ass. Dang it Doug we are talking about life and death here man, and I consider myself an expert on what them deathsticks will do to a person. It's played a major role in taking almost all my family away from me. I HATE CIGARETTES! I preach to you because I've gotten to know you and care about what happens to ya.

I will say a prayer for you and I understand what you're going through. My husband had emergency bypass surgery three years ago. He was so close to having a massive heart attack the doctor wouldn't let him raise his head off the pillow. Within two weeks after surgery he was back smoking those coffin nails like a mad man and has been ever since. I told him to remember that, for every one he smokes it takes 7 minutes off his life. He said that non-smokers didn't realize how hard it is to quit. I will also ask God to take the cravings for tobacco away from you and make it easy for you to stop smoking. God Bless.
