Here is a quote from a LEFT leaning garbage news site.
"The U.S., like the Palestinians and the rest of the international community, believes that Israeli settlements built on lands claimed by the Palestinians, including east Jerusalem, undermine peace prospects. President Obama has been more outspoken on the issue than his predecessors."
OK......since when does the United States side with the Palestinians on this? I've never seen that as our stance. Not until Biden SAID so.
In 1967, EVERY freaking Muslim, Jew HATING country in that region staged a series of ATTACKS against Israel. Instead of allowing those countries to get the upper hand, Israel preemptively used an attack to KICK their butts.
"The Six-Day War of June 5-10, 1967 was a war between Israel and the neighboring states of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. The Arab states of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria also contributed troops and arms.[16] At the war's end, Israel had gained control of the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. The results of the war affect the geopolitics of the region to this day."
Israel KICKED their butts back into the stone age and took the land to create buffer zones. ALL OF IT.
Let Israel take care of whatever business they need to.......if that includes killing every bomb strapping crazy Muslim over there............SO BE IT.
I'm so TIRED of this garbage.....

Absolutely correct. Radical Muslims should be exterminated like Roaches.
Call it "siding with the Palestinians" if you want, but it's been our stance for some time now. This is from April of 2005:Here is a quote from a LEFT leaning garbage news site.
"The U.S., like the Palestinians and the rest of the international community, believes that Israeli settlements built on lands claimed by the Palestinians, including east Jerusalem, undermine peace prospects. President Obama has been more outspoken on the issue than his predecessors."

JERUSALEM — Prime Minister Ariel Sharon arrived in the United States Sunday, expecting overwhelming support from President George W. Bush before embarking on one of the most fundamental concessions in Israeli history — the evacuation of about 9,000 Jewish settlers from their homes. Sharon meets with Bush this week at the president's ranch in Crawford, Texas, a venue reserved for a select few world leaders.
An embrace from the American leader would bolster Sharon, who faces intense internal opposition to the pullout.
As Sharon was flying to the United States on Sunday, thousands of his opponents planned a rally at a disputed holy site in Jerusalem, hoping to sabotage the withdrawal.
On Saturday, Israeli troops shot and killed three teenagers in a disputed circumstance in the Rafah refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, shattering weeks of calm and raising tensions. In response, Palestinian militants fired at least 21 mortar rounds at Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip, the army said.
Israel is set to evacuate all 21 Gaza settlements and four more in the West Bank this summer.
In exchange, Sharon wants Bush to reaffirm his statement from last year that it is "unrealistic" to expect Israel to pull back to the borders that existed before the 1967 Mideast War, due to large Jewish settlement blocs that have been built on the territory since then.
However, Israel and Washington recently have clashed over the interpretation of this statement.
Israel insists it has the right to continue expanding these settlements. The United States opposes any further construction there, saying it threatens peace with the Palestinians and violates the internationally backed "road map" peace plan that calls for a settlement freeze.

Geo, I think you got off point a bit. Yes, the media is a collection of half-wits at times. However, one of my best friends is Muslim. We fish together, swap fishing stories (lie) and pics, and do all the normal guy stuff. The problem isn't Islam. The problem is radicalism. And the media should note that Obama is simply following the same policies that W followed. There's no need to blow smoke up O's back end on this issue. He hasn't done anything commendable!
GEO, You sound like a well rounded and educated man.. AND...You are absolutely right!!
If Israel dropped it's weapons it would be gone!!
If the Radical Muslims dropped their weapons there would be peace in that region...
I think what people need to understand is that we (USA) help keep peace in that little area of the world. Yes we try to play both sides when we need to, but I think that if we didn't, Israel would be long gone or there would be a whole lot of Nuclear waste land in the Middle East.
I don't think that the current president is doing near enough in that area.... He is too worried about Health Care.
If Iran acquires Nuclear weapons,or too much enriched Uranium you can bet that Israel will take them out whether we want them to or not. And Who could blame them?!!
I would be suprised if Israel did not take out Iranian nuke capabilities before they had a chance to use them. I would be even more suprised if the US did not: assist, have fore knowledge of it, or take part in such a raid. I doubt we would publically admit to any of it if does go down either.
Andrew
You seem very logical in your thinking. I like that!I would be suprised if Israel did not take out Iranian nuke capabilities before they had a chance to use them. I would be even more suprised if the US did not: assist, have fore knowledge of it, or take part in such a raid. I doubt we would publically admit to any of it if does go down either.

I took a little break to help my son with some of his Social Studies a few minutes ago. And wouldn't you know it, It's about the Middle East.
It is amazing how they dumb down the books and make staments that are vague at best..
I was reading about how the USA "ACCUSED" the Taliban of being part of the 2001 bombings and then bombed their villages before trying to help rebuild them. I was looking for anything specific that ripped the USA so I could address it with the school, but I haven't found anything like that. They just omit so much that you have to look for other resources to find anything more in depth than the basic who, what, where, when, and how.
No indication that the radical Islamic Muslims were dancing and chanting and openly taking credit for 9-11... There was nothing more than what I said about the USA being accused and helping them rebuild after kicking their butts. At least they got that right!
How can these people be so backwards after all these years?.....
I understand slow progress, but no progress?!! These people still live in the Stone Age!! Look at the UAE These guys are prosperous. The only thing one can attribute it to is their crazy radical islamic relegion.
I just wish schools weren't afraid of the panty waisted leftist and actually reported the truth the way it actually happened and not the way they think it kinda maybe happened... Good, Bad or Indifferent... Give me the Truth, unvarnished as it may be.
But blowing smoke up O's ass is so much fun.........Geo, I think you got off point a bit.
Actually I should have said RADICAL Muslims hate us......the others just kind of dislike us..........OK, I'm joking there.
I also have friends and coworkers who are muslim, and in the past, have shared in their culture a little.
I WISH the Muslim world would condemn the Radical Muslims in the world, but you know what...........They Never will, because DEEP down, all Muslims believe that we're the Infidel, and that in order to spread the belief, all NON Muslims should be KILLED.

Radical Muslims can find justification for their views in the Koran. Moderate Muslims who wish for nothing more than to peacefully coexist with the rest of us can also find just justification for that viewpoint in the Koran http://qa.sunnipath.com/issue_view.a...9801&CATE=1426
"The devil can quote scripture for his purpose." (Shakespeare) I believe this applies equally to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. A good example is, Jefferson Davis, among others, used to quote the Bible to justify slavery.
