Where are the fish

i cant find them. I have tried shallow deep and suspended jerkbaits. Lizards and jigs. Nothing!!! Any advice?? Thanks

I think at this time of year people forget we are still just out of winter.
Although the weather is warming up, all of the water is not yet warmed up.. not even in the shallows... There might be more caught inthe southern lakes but that is a precious rarity.. If the water is still in the 40's then I would expect to get less than 10 bites a day.
SMLJAW and I went out a week and a half ago and caught 3.. We got 3 bites all day long.
Once the water hits about 53 degrees it will be KATY BAR THE DOOR!!!
Until that happens you still need to fish slower and methodically and get the two best lures in your tacklebox out and put them on the jig your using....
The best lure in your tacklebox you ask??? Confidence and patience! JMO

Which part of the lake are you referring to? Skaggs, Petes, or Barren River? Hoping to go up there tomorrow and am thinking of putting in at Walnut Creek since I blanked in Skaggs last week. What do you all think? Thanks.

Go to a channel swing bank and throw a shaky head. If I'm havin trouble gettin bites that's were I head. Usually doesn't let me down either.
