how long will fillets keep in fridge?

A buddy and I caught some bluegill and redear in his cousins farm pond that he wanted to keep and fillet. We caught about 12 big ones and filleted them up, problem is he is moving and wanted to know if could keep them here for a day. Fine with me, we can keep them in the fridge in the garage, I told him. That was Friday night and they are still in there. Cannot get ahold of him but I have an uncle coming over on thursday that loves fish. Will they still be good?

Put them in a baggie, fill water and freeze them!

I have a rule of thumb...if in the fridge for 5 days...depending on how you stored them in the fridge...should be just fine. That huge 17lb striper I caught..yea we had most on the grill that night (unreal !!), but I stored two nice pieces in some sealed storage containers; 5 days later I fixed those for my wife and myself, on the grill again...it was still good; but not as tasty as they were that day of the catch. I think anything more than 7 days for fish, in the fridge....not so good, for me.
