hey guys, need some info from some of the Barkley, fished Saturday and Sunday on Barkley in our club tournament, ran south to around the 68 bridge both days, the wind blew out of the south at 15 to 20 +, on Saturday took us about an hour fighting the waves, on Sunday it was worse we crossed to the lbl side at Taylor Bay and it was much much better, my question is,one of the guys said that he fished with a guy that showed a piece of REBAR that is on that side, but he can't remember were it is. is it their? if so were is it? any help would be appreciated thanks in advance
Gary

Guess he meant sandbar?
Can't remember the exact locations of the rebar, but they are there to mark stumps and other hazards.
yah, guys I thought I proof read it, but after I sent it I read it again and I said WHAT lol, the re bar I ment is the metal bar that goes in concert, the guy that told me it was their didn't say it was sticking up, he said the guy he fished with said let me show this, and told him that a lot of guys don't know it's their. running the LBL side of Barkley was the only thing that saved us on Sunday, the wind was so bad on the East side we would not have maid back in time for the weight in, so I hope I did it better this time

Rebar. OK it sound like somebody placed them there as stakes used as fish attractor.
There is of a ton re-bar all over that lake sticking up. They are usually marking stumps. I know it is the main reason I quit using flouro on barkley - re-bar will eat right through it if it barely touches it.
Most are visible at summer pool - sticking up 6" to over a foot.
