Need a Hardy report REAL BAD!!!

Taking 2 of my neices (12 & 11) to Hardy tomorrow (Thursday) for whatever we can catch. I seen that area got something like 2.25 inches of rain this morning. Any info you can give me would be helpful!

You will be fishing in Chocolate milk! Some crappie are still shallow, I would fish around the old road for brim.

Chocolate milk? This lake does get muddy on the south end but Ihave never seen it look like chocolate milk.Yes bluegill and redear were just starting on the bed last week.Shaner I sent you a PM.

My wife, friend and I went to Hardy this AM, ended up keeping a total of 25 decent bluegills and four redears. I was a little disappointed in the redear, looking for some bigger ones than we caught. The water was very murky and the lake's up pretty good.

I talked to someone leaving and they said the gills/ears have already been on the nest and then came back off because of the weather. I'd say we're probably about a week away from having some serious nesting action. Still not a bad day, the fish were chunky just not what I know Hardy's capable of.

Hardy can be hit or miss. We filled the boat with NICE redear around this time last year, good sized bluegill as well. Haven't found the redear out there yet this year either, bluegill have been so so. Still a a couple weeks away from the moon.

Where's the old road bed you're speaking of? I go out of Wooster ramp, is it down to the right or up towards the beach area?

Was their today also fished from 9am to 1pm caught 8 redear two that were 10"others were around 8" ,14 bluegill a couple that were 8 1/2".Caught maybe 15 small bass.Was not as good as last week had 20 redear between 8"-10".The bass fishing should get real good in the next week or so.Shaner I hope you and the girls caught fish and had a good time.

Couldn't make it today. 1 of the girls had softball practice that her mom forgot about! I think they were more dissapointed than Uncle Shaner! Thats ok, hopefully next Thursday will be better. Sounds like it was a little slow today any how.
