    Geo,

It is one of my fantasy trips to do the boundary waters which has me interested and I have a 17" expedition canoe and camping gear to boot. A few years back I lead a scout group and did some planning to take our troop on a boundary waters trip but it didn't pan out leaving my hopes empty. Further, back in 2004 my dad and I took my boys to Bear Lake Wilderness Camp in Canada which was a great trip and left me wanting to do a wilderness trip again. But my difficulty next spring is that one of my sons will be graduating high school in May so the timing may be awkward with his graduation. Keep us posted on the details as you put this together and maybe we can make it work...

Would love to do something like this, but don't think I can swing that much time off in one shot. Already do a 7-10 day surf trip every fall. I know I could not do both in one year.

Thats where I am at. I take a week long trip down to Ky Lake every spring, and that already has my wife in a hissy. I also lack most of teh equipment needed. I will, however, do this one day. It is going on teh list just under a trip to El Salto.
