i was stopped in patoka river today on my way out for speeding only got a warning but i seen 3 other boats sopped after me for the same thing but many dont speed in the river unless they know it pretty well but the real danger is out on the main lake with those jet skiers that cut in front of you

if you look at the bouys they say 10mph in the little circle but it also no wake but a 20 or 21 foot boat lik i have cause a nice wake at 10mph so whats a guy supposed to do?

yea i don't recall any no wake bouys...usually if its no wake, it will say idle speed as well...i think around the marina its idle only isnt it? but other than that i can only think of 5 mph around the ramps and bridges and 10mph in the other speed zones

i enjoy watching idiots speeding through those zones at over 30 mph just thinking of when they are going to hit a stump..i did it at about 7 mph and it was bad

That is what they are paid to do. Been blown off the water too many times in that area.

i hate it to in the river when other boats run through and their wake slam u into to the side of one of those stick ups and puts a nice little scuff on your boat
when i was stopped i was going under 10mph but i was causing to much wake is wat the CO said but i learned my lesson and sure wont do it again

around walss up in that area i think im not sure though it says no wake

did anybody do any good on sunday at patoka

learned my lesson hit a stump going up river this year bent my prop shaft and my prop

sorry bub...not sure how going 10mph in a 10 mph zone is a violation. please enlighten me
