KY Lake: Sun. 30th - Thurs. 3rd

Headin down to KY Lake this Sunday - next thursday. Plannin on the holiday weekend traffic to be gone Sunday evening, hopefully.

Not sure what the boat traffic will do to the fish, but the plan:

Topwater early then move on to the points with cranks, jigs, caroline rig ... Any advice? Let it be known that we will probably stay in Jonathan Creek. Also I am unexperienced in fishing ledges but will try and experiment this trip with shallow ledges in the creek.

I have heard people say that before.

I have been reading a lot about ledge fishing. I guess the hardest part for me is finding the ledges, from what I have read you need to look for parallel contour lines on a map. Right? I was confused before I started reading, I always thought of a ledge as the same as a drop off which doesnt seem to be the case.
