    Thumbs up Lesnar vs Carwin

Me and a buddy payed for this fight live Saturday night and all I can say is Wow. Shane Carwin is a bad bad man with hands like jackhammers. The first round he beat Brock Lesnar's face up so bad I just knew they were going to stop the fight but they didn't. Start of the second round Carwin looks at Lesnar before the bell and winks his eye and Brock smiled from ear to ear, like man ain't this fun. Then the big square head got Carwin on the ground and began to pinch the life out of him and made Shane tap out.

I have seen lot's of professional boxing matches, backyard brawles, ect ect, but have never seen anybody take that many HARD face shots and survive. I can think of NO pro boxer even in his prime that could have withstood the punishment and pain that Carwin was shelling out. But Brock Lesnar took it and was smiling for more. He earned my respect as a legit MMA guy Saturday night, he's a freaking animal. All that said though Carwin is a beast to and hits like a Mule would kick, these guys in the UFC are freak athletes.

You said it man! What I like about Lesnar is he has the showmanship from his wrestling days. He can get things whipped up in a hurry! Thats a big son of a gun!

He's a beast, but ya know Carwin is the exact same weight at 265. That was a fight, there are horses that can't kick as hard as some of those punches Carwin threw, and that jughead Lesnar took them all, unreal.

I heard Lesnar has to have his gloves special made because his hands are so big. Be like somebody pounding on you with a couple of country hams. Unless he had me backed in a corner I wouldn't take that guy on even if I was armed with a 2X4.

Hope you and your bud didn't hammer down too many buttermilks Saturday night Mark.

Lesner wears 4XL gloves but Carwin's wears a 5XL glove. Either way, some pretty big meat hooks with a couple of Big Boys swinging them. I thought Lesner would have no problem with anyone in the heavyweight division but Carwin earned my respect because he did beat the crap out of Brock in the first round. But Brock did come back and make him tap.

    Re: Lesnar vs Carwin

Just watched a post fight interview tape of Lesnar and he thanked the referee for letting this one go. Alot of Ref's stop that one in the first, I do think the ref made the right call because that big farm fed monster was not hurt by any means. It was heading there but it never made it. When Lesnar got on top and postioned that big upper body cross ways on Carwin it was not good. That has to be like a full grown steer laying on you, lol.

I love the UFC, no BS, real fighting and guys show respect after their win or loss. I'd like to see Tyson get his big mouth in there, LOL. Kimbo Slice thought he was gonna punk somebody, Ha Ha, he got abused.

I think, if Kimbo had better knees he would be awesome. but the ufc guys figured out real quick, to take his knees out. Also his ground game wasn't much. But if he hits you look out.

I wish I could have seen that fight. I will see it on replay. Kimbo fought a Maryland cop a few years ago in an underground brawl. The cop won the fight I don't think Kimbo is much against pro fighters. Granted I don't want any piece of him.
