Geo, you may be right that it doesn't get picked up by others, but seriously, 20 minutes is not enough time when major news orginaztions are under a lot more strick rule than most. They could be talking to media lawyers right now and they have to prove that there is a story here. If nothing happens by this time tomorrow than I will agree that something shady is going on here.

I remember when this was going on and it was very funny how they recounted and he started getting votes from the heavens. It's crooked in my book because of who all was involved and how it was SO IMPORTANT that he get elected. Remember the Dems were riding high and felt bullet proof...but maybe.."the chickens have come home to rooost!"

OK so let's say they did, and 341 convicted felons voted. You're also assuming that all of those that voted did so illegally. What Fox didn't mention is that in Minnesota, "People with felony convictions may vote upon completion of all supervised release." http://felonvoting.procon.org/view.resource.php
So for all we know every one of them may have had the legal right to vote. I think it's only reasonable to assume that at least some did. But maybe some did not. OK, so how many of those voted for Franken? No way to know, of course. Some, maybe even a majority, would have, but again, it's only reasonable to assume that some did not. So what we're left with is "definitive proof" of absolutely nothing. That's why no other news agencies picked this up; there's no story here.

Maybe it is the beer talkin but I think our political situations are turning out a lot like the countries we are trying to defend and integrate the same democratic society that we have here. A lot of corrupt politicians and voting practices.

I agree, seems like every election we end up with an investigation if thr dem candidate loses. In this case they won but I believe it was corrupt. Wasn't this the race that somehow produced ballots left in a trunk of a car upon the second recount?
Who can forget the hanging chads? I know there were others and there will be more. I think we have more crooks in Washington than in prison.

My reply makes it obvious that I read the story on Fox. No, I didn't read the report itself. Neither your post, nor the Fox story, contained a link to it, and I was too tired to feel like Google'ing it. I have read it now, and what you DO have is pretty good proof that 341 people voted illegally. One thing I noticed is that they obtained voter registration cards for a number of those people, but they don't mention the parties those voters registered with. I'd be interested to know that. After all, the statement by Fox News that "The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally" is based on the ASSUMPTION that all of them voted for Franken. It would be just as easy to spin it the other way, and say that "The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator might not have been as close as it was, if not for convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities."
Now you're putting words in my mouth (or at my fingers... whatever). I have NEVER said anything like that about Fox News. My biggest complaint about them is just that they put a right-wing spin on EVERYTHING, yet call themselves "fair and balanced."
No, that's NOT what you were "just saying." What you were saying was that you had "Definitive proof that Al Franken was elected ILLEGALLY," which you DON'T have.
For the record, I agree that if there was voter fraud (which apparently there was), it should be investigated, and those involved should be prosecuted vigorously.
