Finally... somebody on this thread with some sense, lol. You guys can have those cold winter days, I'll take some summer time night fishing to get away from the jet skis, tubes, and idiots.

I had a great time last year and will be there again if we do it. I will even pay attn to the time zone so I am not an hour early for dinner.
HOLD ON, NOW LET'S NOT RUSH IT??
I'm age 65 and HOLDING, let's just take our time and enjoy ALL the fishing seasons. Fall/Winter, ETC, and FNF will be here in due time.
Get off the couch, grab a box of jigs and hit the lakes (Dale or where ever) and "tease the smalliers) at night!....![]()
134 days left until December 1, 2010 and the FNF season will officially begin. 138 days left until the 28th Annual Horse Creek Billy Westmoreland Memorial Smallmouth Invitational that will be held at Horse Creek Marina December 4th and 5th. I am not going to say the relevance of this event for I will leave that to Catchemall but WE do plan on hanging another plaque on the wall right next to last years plaque and become 2 Time, I said 2 TIME, did I mention 2 TIME CHAMPS OF THIS EVENT!!!!
Got to go now and give my FNF rods a little love and attention
Elwood as much as I like the above statement there is one thing we need to change. This year you can catch the big fish on day one and I will get it on day two so we can take our pics with 4 plaques instead of three.
I have a much better idea: You catch 2 overs and 2 - 15 inchers on day 1, we will sleep in late on Sunday - go have a big breakfast about 10am and head to the weigh in and take our chances.
On second thought, I am not giving up a day of FNF fishing on Day 2, you catch 2 overs and 2 unders on Day 1 ( I will play netboy for all 4 fish) then we will fish just as hard on Day 2 just for the pure enjoyment factor. Day 2 will be a lot less stressful than last year because when you put the over in the boat around 10am and I put the under in the boat a bit later, I was stressed to no end hoping my old heap would make it back the 22 miles to the marina without breaking down.
