Have any of you guys ever seen or heard of this????

Last Tuesday I was filming with a mid south fishing show called Fishing Affliction.We caught a 20 inch smallie that was different than any I had ever seen before.It had bright BLUE on the last inch of the gill plate.Just like a blue gill.It was the strangest thing I've ever seen.The show should be on the ION network not this Sat but next Sat.It will be a two part episode so....Any insight would be great. No Boone but I'm waiting to talk to the video editing people to see if they can grab a still...In nashville it is broadcast # 28 and comcast # 17. So nobody has ever seen anything like this?

hey man, I would really like to see the fishing show, I have dish network, and get the ION channel. do you know what time it will air. that would make it easier for me to catch it.......and I've never heard of a bluegill smallmouth, but would like to see one. thanks for the info, if you know the time.

That episode will be on Sat. morning at 9 am on the Ion network.In the Nashville area it is 17 on comcast and 28 on broadcast.I believe it can be purchased for 5 dollars from their web site.I will try to get it on youtube when I get a copy with their permission....
