See Geo,
The Pres does spend more money for the Americans than the Iraqi's. And you thought he was a Muslim.....
Hey, I got an idea. Lets tell the insurgents and terrorists that Mexico is our closest ally and we can't survive as a nation if thousands of their people don't come into the US every night to join or work force. Maybe the terorrists, insurgents, and radicals in an attempt to starve our economy will try to "Kill" America by stopping illlegal immigration .
Now that......ahhhhhh.....is a world class idea!
To sit back and say that the state of this country is the republicans fault is short sighted to say the least. This country has been on this road for along time. Policies enacted by congress for or in spite of past presidents caused this.
My beliefs are spending your way out of debt is foolish. I don't do it at home we don't to it at the company I work for and I don't see how it works for the country. I was always taught if you don't have the money don't spend it. I guess the rules are different when we can print our own on Chinese paper.
DJD is correct...it all starts at home, it all starts with basic A,B,C,1,2,3 simple math and common sense. You do not spend your way out of debt...PERIOD! Sounds to me like someone here is putting the blame on a republican....Yea right pal! Wake up man...like DJD wrote, this crapola has been going on for a very VERY long time! I don't spend my way out of debt, the company I work for doesn't spend their way out of debt either. If my company wants out of debt they put a freeze on wages and watch their spending habits very closely.
Man I hope this country comes out of this economic slump, but the signs I'm seeing ain't good. And while I grant that Nobama didn't start this mess, he sure as heck ain't doing nothing more but adding fuel to the fire, jet fuel in this case.
Im with Glenn Beck on this one... The way out is the way through... No bailouts, No stimulus package, No government made jobs. This means things will get worse... much much worse... but in the end things will turn around... and with that turn around comes an education of the masses... about how to manage yoru money. The only way to teach the banks how to lend money properly, and the consumers how to spend money properly is to shockj them with a full on depression.
Its a scary thought... but hey it may weed out the "lesser" of society... survival of teh fittest...

You mean that even though I don't have the money and can't afford something based on my income and current budget/payments/bills, I can't go on and have it anyway? Just this once?
We have a winner.
