Anyone doing any good out on the river?

BAKED DRUM FISH SURPRISE
2 lbs. drum steaks
1/2 c. French dressing
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (32 oz.) can French fried onions
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
Cut steaks into serving size. Place in shallow pan. Combine French dressing, lemon juice and salt. Pour over fish. Let stand 30 minutes, turning once. Add crushed onions and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Good with other types of fish as well. Serves 6 to 8.

I've been out three or four times in the last three weeks and the bass fishing still seems slow...they are moving shallow though, mostly around wood and docks. I look for them to start chasing the shad into the creek mouths within the next two weeks. Had to laugh at the Drum recipe...I seem to catch more of those stupid things than anything else. Might start bringing a few of them home with me for my compost pile!!
