    The bungles

    Anyone see todays game?

They looked great in the 2nd half.

Where has that been all season?

Maybe now that they remembered how to play offense they'll turn it around.

This has been the most dissapointing season in a long time. The reason is, there is quite a bit of talent on this team, but yet the are not getting anything done. Do we even have an offensive coordinator? The defense accounted for most of the points while I was watching. I missed the 4th quarter, but did see the D step up with an INT and moments later the fumble recovery and return by PacMan.

After Pacmans return, Atlanta scored a td.
    Bengals got ball back.
    Were driving.
    Benson fumbled.
    Falcons score another td.
    End of game.

Yeah it seems that we can only get half a game together. Either our defense is great and the offense ***** or the other way round... today for about a quarter we had teh whole game... then the D fell apart again... I dont get how our defense is so much worse than last year... with the same players... Peko and Geathers are like dead weight this year.

It did seem that Palmer and his recievers found a rythym... and if we can get our backs to hold onto the ball we will be ok... hopefully next week we can build som confidense against the dolphins...

To many penalties also. Dang they beat themselves. That fumble by Benson was a killer...

After seeing highlights, it looks as if Carson had a pretty good game. Not sure what the deal is with this team.

    Re: The bungles

I think the biggest part of the let down so far this season is mostly from the O-Line play. Not nearly as good as the O-line of the past with Anderson,Steinbach and Brahm. Plus Carson's banged up knees has really hurt his passing out of the pocket and buying extra time.

I agree the D-line also has been a bit of dead weight. But at same time I have to blame all the defensive woes on the Offense for crappy field possession and time of possession.

If their going to get to winning they have to remember how to convert 3rd and shorts by playing hard nose ol fashioned,, run up the middle football.
Bout want to die when they run a pass play on 3rd and 2 or less. If ya can't/don't believe you can pick up a few on the ground every play. Then IMO, just give up.

They got the Steelers at home on Monday night.

Won't be surprised if Pit beats um by about 21. . Carson get sacked about 10 times. TO an Cho get injured, leave the game before half time.
