I dont mean to beat around the bush but i would like to make sure its the rod i want before i bought it. I'm looking for a good rod to throw shallow to medium depth crankbaits on, what i would primarily use the rod for is for a Bandit 100 (1/4 oz) up to a Spro Little John (1/2 oz) and possiibly like a Wiggle Wart or a Norman Deep Little in when wanting to go a little deeper. Is it a pretty stiff action? I mean im familiar with Loomis but not with the Bronzeback series. It said in your original post that the rod was suitable for jigs and spinnerbaits as well? I would take that as it is a pretty stiff tip to it. I know it is a fast action. I have a 7' M action Loomis regular crankbait series with a medium fast action and it is almost too light to throw the LJ and Wart on. The rod seems to load up a little too much and that takes away from the cast, this rod also seems like it doesnt have enough backbone to pull into a bigger fish on those baits with a little thicker shank hook. I know this is a good rod im just wondering if it would fit what i need it for.
I have 3 of the same rod and am selling this one only. I LOVE them. I fish anything from 1/4oz hair jigs to 1/2 and 3/4 oz Football jigs, texas rigged lizards with 1/8 to 3/8 oz sinkers, 1/4 oz spinnerbaits, 1oz Night spinnerbaits, Norman Deep Little N crankbaits, DT series cranks from DT4 to DT16, Norman DD22's and such. Very versatile and have no problem with the rods at all.
Let me do a little research.. I'm definitely not saying that I dont believe you or anything like that, the only thing that scares me on this rod is that it may be a little too far the other way from what i want. It sounds a little bit on the heavy side as far as action goes. I will get back to ya, hopefully tomorrow evening.. I'll be gone all day tomorrow down to Richmond.

CBR845, 7' Long, 2 Handles, 10-20 line weight, 3/8 - 1oz lure weight, Action is Mod to Fast, Power is Medium Heavy
It is a Crank Bait Series rod but I don't have enough money to buy a rod specifically for different techniques. I used all of these interchangeably but will say Crankbait, Spinnerbait and texas rigged lizards were my favorite technique to use them on. Hope this helps
Will you take $200 for the rod?
I live in Louisville but will be in Lexington Monday maybe we can hook up near the interstate in Frankfort sometime then?
im sorry i didnt get back with you sooner on this.. i think that i will wait and find rod a little more technique specific. im about to go to college next fall and i am slowly working on upgrading to all top end technique specific rods because i just work around my fishing schedule.. but thanks for trying to work with me elnut and i hope that you sell the combo for what you would like to get out of the rod. im sure its a great rod but sounds like ive got what i would use it for so thanks.
