    Hi Fresh,
I tried Markland for the 1st time tuesday, 1 footlong cat, no saugers or hybrid, many snags.Due to lack of boat, I too only bank fish. I was at Markland Dam Park on the Indiana side.Easy access, nice place. At the bottom of the steps I went left about 50 yards and fished off a rocky point.Current was strong & it was snag city. Next time I will try the sandy point to the right of the steps, a little farther downstream.I was mainly trying for sauger using a quarter ounce white jighead tipped w a minnow.I am curious about what you use for hybrid.Any advice on location or bait? Thanks, Kurt
