First of all Never fished live bait. how do you rig up your rods? And how many do you have to be fishing at once?
Thanks

Started turkey day with a few decent fish, the big winds had me cornered, but managed several. I struggled friday morning with some people i took out, after mid day we began boating fish, my biggest today was 4.7 still under but heavy. With 3 of us at it we boated 12 fish.
After lunch i recalled the advice smally7 posted about fishing shallower it paid off with that big one an several others.
Water was 57 late friday, will drop at least a couple degrees by sun. there is good color for Dale,
our fish were from tropper/Hendricks, 3 spots, some on the bottom some drifting, big fish was on the bottom ( thats pulled up tied down fan the area with live bait)

i use the same set up for both drifting and or bottom fishing, Drifting
a 3/0 abrerdeen eagle claw wire hook, with a split shot (#6/#8 I think) about 18 inches above the hook. same set up on the bottom. some times drifting no weight,
always use a spining rod. 8lb test
tenn is 3 pole limit
I can't get anybody around here to make the trip to dale....was wantin to head down there sunday morning but looks like another weekend at home
