Thanks Guys, Lowerider, Catch and release is the only way on Dale Hollow. It is not a put and take fishery like others in the south.The 50 inch minimum was a brilliant move this year. The TWRA discontinued stocking programs in the mid 1950's. The healthy population in Dale is a self sustaining one, for me that has produced fish recently in the upper twenties ,thirties and forties.Even two 50 inchers.
