Good luck brother I will say a prayer for you. On a side note have you thought about checking out a different doctor?

2nd surgery in a month last Tue, Dismissed on Thur and sent home. Back to the ER and in the hospital Sun and Mon then dismissed, Back to the ER yesterday and sent home last night at midnight and my surgeon calls me just now to say come back because I am getting admitted. My surgeon did not see me Sun, Mon or yesterday but reviewed the stuff this afternoon and found out that I am dehydrated, my blood levels are low and there is a chance that I have CDIFF again along with all my other problems. UK Hospital Staff is getting worse by the day. Changed at the beginning of 2009 and getting worse all the time. Pretty sad when my surgeon and a couple other Blue Surgery doctors are the only ones I trust anymore, buth they can't be there all the time. Waiting on the wife to get home so she can take me but thought I would say, SO LONG, before I logged off the laptop.

I can't repeat the words that I thought when I read the title of this post.![]()
Looks like 6-7 days in here. Here is how my life works:
MRSA and Pseudomonous are both pretty severe infection. THey give me pretty potent antibiotics in the hospital and then similar oral antibiotics for the past 30 days to fight my infections in my abdominal area. CDIFF is a type of infection that everyone has in their digestive track / colon area. It lies dormant until you are given certain antibiotics for a period of time then it goes wild and give you diarrhea and other stuff like CRAZY, 14 times in the bathroom on Thursday. So then they stop the antibiotics that they are giving me to keep my staff infections under control and give me Flagil, another antibiotic which is designed to stop the CDIFF problems. In my case it is russian roulette, hope the staff infections don't go haywire while the CDIFF is trying to be put under control. Take your pick, Staff infection or CDIFF, both can and will kill you if left untreated. 505 days in the hospital and counting. My son was awarded the Student of the Month in the First Grade at Bridgeport Elementary this morning, we knew about it on Tuesday, but I miss the ceremony this morning because I am in the hospital. His first basketball game of the year is tomorrow and I will be in the hospital, I miss so much when I am sitting here in Isolation and can't be with him and my wife. This part STINKS The High Heavens.
