I myself ( and I think I am a picky eater ) can tell very little difference in the big ones compared to the little ones, I have eaten 40 pound cats and 7 pound bass and if you fry them right they all taste comparable. Dont get me wrong I would prefer fiddler bass and cats but stick a booger in grease and watch out...........Its been a long winter ...is it over yet.

LMAO. I never quite heard it put that way before. I may be able to start serving Tyme's special appetizer "Deep fried booger bits."

I don't think it's a taste issue as much as a contaminated one. Large fish generally have more mercury/pcbs etc than small fish and are therefore more "dangerous" to eat.
