well guys I feel that as a UofL fan it is my duty to stat acting obnoxious and point out the fact that today was a GREAT day to not be a UK fan !

Loose a bowl game to Pitt ( a big east team )

Enes is not ever playin in a UK jersey , payaparri couldnt pull that off , what a suprise.

and Georgia outplayed the greats for sure.

sure is great for UK to be the best in NCAA isn't it , have a great day UK Nation !

If you're talking all-time basketball wins or something, then yeah...it is great to be the best in the NCAA.

If your talking championships, then yeah, it is great to be near the top of the NCAA.

If you're talking this year, I don't think anyone is claiming us as the class of the NCAA just yet. I'm certainly not. We've got a pretty good team though.

Let's see how you feel after that Big East schedule has been run through.

As for football...UK is mediocre at best, but thank Mike Hartline for handing the Big East this win via a night of drunken idiocy.

    Bite me. LOL

PS. UK vs UL Football 2010...SCOREBOARD.
PPS. UK vs UL Basketball 2010...SCOREBOARD.

Typical Louisville fan that has to ride the coat-tails of OTHER teams that beat the Big Blue to basque in the glory. Seems to me the best GLORY to basque in as a Louisville Cardinal fan would be the GLORY when Louisville beat UK in Football and Basketball this season. Sorry, MY BAD MY MISTAKE, NO GLORY TO BASQUE in here for I do believe that head to head Louisville VS Kentucky in Football - ON LOUISVILLE'S HOME TURF - Final score 23-16, UK WINS. Head to Head Louisville VS Kentucky in Basketball - ON LOUISVILLE'S HOME COURT - Final Score 78-63, UK WINS. Kentucky can't beat every team every game so you keep riding the coat-tails of whomever beats the Big Blue for in 2010 the fact of the matter is Louisville had their shot in Football and Basketball in Louisville's back yard and JUST COULD NOT GET THE JOB DONE!!!!

    GO CATS!!!!!!!!

As a humble UK fan, I was feeling pretty down as a part of Big Blue Nation last night after the games. But after reading Splitshot and Elwood's posts, I feel a helluva lot better about things. Thanks fellas. Go Cats.

As a humble UK fan. losing last night didn't bother me at all. We are not last years team or are we expected to be as good. And you non UK fans had better be glad Kanter is not playing, because we would be untouchable then.

Even Earnhardt didn't win every race, but as we all know he is the best that ever touched a race car. And over all UK has the most wins, 2nd in championships, which will change in a few years

I'm not from a big basketball area, and I have to admit I'm just starting to "get" the game, but nowadays I do enjoy watching games, especially if it's with someone who won't mind answering a question or two. But one thing I'll never get is why some people are compelled to act like 5-year-olds over it.

Hey RT...one thing this site has taught me is that you gotta be careful talking: Religion, Politics and UK/UL Sports.

Actually, the sports rivalry is more explosive than the other two. Seriously though I love the banter.

Question Re: what a great day !!!! well i guess it wasnt for the BIG BLUE huh ??

Bassking I responded to your comments about me being obnoxious in a post that I must assume got removed. I have no idea what I said that was offensive. (I wish the administrators would email us to let us know what we did wrong). Maybe they're Louisville fans too, who knows. Anyway, you seem confused. In one sentence you say:

"UK fans are all about letting everyone know they are the best and in reallity thats not true and hasnt been true for quite a while."

And in the very next sentence you say:

"had the best team in college ball last year"

My question to you is: What do you consider "quite a while"?

Bass King this is the second time I have posed this question to you. Any chance you will respond this time? Now let me pose another question about a quote of yours.

    "what a great day !!!!"

Was it such a great day for you when a US congresswoman gets shot point blank in the face and 6 other innocent people die? Maybe you have a sick sense of what a great day is or maybe as with the first question, you are still confused. I guess losing bragging rights for a year to Kentucky fans does that to you. But then again since it has been "quite a while" since you had bragging rights we'll overlook your idiotic comments.
I eagerly await your response self proclaimed BassKing.

FYI: Moderators do not email you to let you know what rules you are breaking..if you have a problem with the moderation of site...the rules state you should email [email protected] . The rules also state that comments about the moderation of this site are not to be posted on the boards...could be your problem is that you need to read the rules before you post here.

I took it Bassking's heading as it was intended to be taken, as he was referring the content of the post he made...about the bad day for UK sports. I never assumed that he was commenting on the gunman incident. There is another thread for comments about that unfortunate situation. jmo. oh yea, GO CATS
