i havent seen a report for nolin lake in over a year and a half. im just wondering why this is.

Few people want to give information how they are catching fish at the moment. Most serious bass fisherman fish tournaments and don't want to help the competition. If I am fishing Yatesville for example and I say I caught a nice limit on shallow cranks in Brushy creek then come tournament day there might be 2 more boats in there.
The only really good constant fishing reports are from guides who have something to gain by promoting their business and sponsors. And most of them are on lakes so big its not going to impact them anyway like Kentucky/Barkley or Guntersville. And you still here people complain about guides talking about the fish they are catching and helping out of state fisherman. bbcboards and wmi.org have the most fishing reports from guides I have found.
The best thing to do say you are fishing Nolin this weekend is ask about the water conditions and basic info.
If you need Nolin Fishing Reports...I give one almost weekly from March-Dec...LOL! I'm always up there!Love that lake!

I have a lot at nolin and have posted quite a few reports for nolin last year. I had the best year on nolin i have ever had last year. I dont mind posting reports on nolin and hope my reports help other fisherman with the current conditions and baits to use. Most of the reports are on the discussion board not the fishing report page.
i was just wondering why there werent any from the site creator on the main report page like you find for some of the other lakes like ky or barkley. just seems like they leave out quite a few lakes.
i appreciate you guys willing to share reports. thats my home lake so i will share any info i can with you all as well. thanks.
The reason there may not be any current reports on those page is that no one has been found that is willing to write a report each week or so on the fishing conditions there. I am sure Peter (site owner) would be happy to have someone that fishes that particular lake a lot during the season to volunteer to write a fishing report and submit it to him to post on that particular lake's fishing report page. I was writing the weekly fishing report that I do for Ky/Barkley for this site before I ever thought of guiding as a favor because I had retired here from the military and was fishing here most days. Any volunteers should contact [email protected] .
