    Restrepo

Anybody see the Restrepo outpost/Afghanistan documentary? Pretty heavy stuff. Gave me a new appreciation for our troops, and I already had a darned high regard for them. My truck's got a 'thank you' sticker on the back window...getting a bigger one.

    Jim,
I didn't see it but will look for it. Was it on History channel?
Man I'm a big softy at heart and when I see troops in the Airports crying with their loved ones, either leaving or coming home, I get teary eyed real quick.
I'm 100% behind these men and women!

Next time you see a group of troops........ANY SERVICE at hooters, or bw3's or anywhere else, pick up their tab, and tell them THANK YOU.

It will make you feel better, and DEFINITELY makes them feel good about what they do.

I've done that a couple times...........Did it in Green Bay while waiting on a plane, and did it again a few months ago at Hooters.

    Later,

    Geo

    Re: Restrepo

Three of my family are still over there serving this country, two are out of Fort Cambell, Screaming Eagles, one has been there since this thing started, he does not want to leave his troops, he is a true hero, one is on his 3rd tour, the other is in Ary intel, she is career solider, over 20 yrs service to this country, my hat is off to all that have served and are serving, my dad is navy vet. When I lived in Etown several years ago, a band I was in played several shows for the troops at Fort Knox, one show was right before the first Gulf war, I felt very prood to have provided some entertainment for our guys before they left for war. God bless our troops.

Even without those shorts Hooters is about the only place to get steamed clams and oysters.

I took my father in law there explained it would be worth it and that you will see more at the pubic pool than Hooters.

Can't get enough of those steamers!!!!
